Course Information:Motivation & Coaching A good manager needs to be what is commonly referred to as a “people person”. Anyone can bark out orders and put demands on others. A good manager has the ability to drive their people to achieve their potential. A good manager would never humiliate, embarrass or make another feel subservient to their demands, but be able to drive and push them to achieve. The success of a good manager is dependant upon the success of their employees. When an employee falls short, it is the manager’s responsibility. Managers depend upon the success of their employees to be successful. Good managers understand the importance of complimenting a job well done. In this course, we will attempt to summarize some of those factors considered significant to motivating those around us. The Author Jerry Keller graduated from the Kentucky School of Mortuary Science in 1964 and has been involved both directly and indirectly with the Funeral Profession since that time and has been a Certified Bereavement Facilitator since 1997. |
