Every course we offer, with what it covers. Hours and prices are set by each state, so choose yours to see what a course counts for and costs.
The Colorado Funeral Service Board is a voluntary certification program developed, owned and administered by the Colorado Funeral Directors Association. The Colorado Funeral Service Board requires six (6) contact hours per year for individuals who maintain certification as a CMSP, CFD, CET and INT.
A minimum of four (4) contact hours are required from those activities must come from Category A or Category B activities and at least two (2.0) contact hours are required from CFDA-approved Colorado Laws credit.
All of our home study courses are approved by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP) and qualify for Category B.
None of our courses qualify for the required 2.0 hours for Colorado Law.
Boards change their rules, so please confirm with yours. Not sure what you need? Call (800) 731-4714 and we'll go through it with you.
